A Look at some Wide Receivers you may find on the Waiver Wire in Week 8!

Donnie Avery, STL - The rookie has already notched 12 catches the last 3 games and the Rams are desperate for an offensive spark. They still have Torry Holt as their #1 receiver but Avery makes a great second option. He's fast and has great hands and he's been making a big splash these last few weeks. If he's still on your wire, now is the time to grab him.

Malcolm Floyd, SD - 140 yards and 2 TD in the last two games as Floyd has been filling in for Buster Davis and Chris Chambers. Floyd is a monster red zone threat at 6'5" and in my opinion, is better than Buster Davis! He's still young enough to break out and if he gets the start this week in London, he could be a decent fantasy producer again opposite Vincent Jackson!

Bobby Wade, Min - Wade has had 4 straight games of 60 yards or more. Minnesota is on a bye this week but Wade is the kind of player that fantasy managers will drop from their roster for extra bye week help. If you have room to stash, grab Wade if you are in need of WR's for week 9.

Mike Furrey, Det - Furrey had a monster year in 2006 but hasn't done much since. Last week, Furrey had 6 catches for 89 yards. He hasn't had more than two catches in a game this season but with Roy Williams gone and the offense in shambles, Furrey makes a nice second option as teams will focus on Calvin Johnson. I like Furrey to step it up a bit in the second half Wes Welker style!
